Testimonials
Sandy,
This was my first year experience with your Dance School and I have to tell you it was AWESOME!!! How I learned about your dance school was, last May I attended the recital to see a couple of my girlfriend's children perform. I was so impressed that I immediately signed my 4 year old granddaughter up for the 2011/2012 season.
Every Saturday she was eager to go to "dance school". She loved meeting the other girls in her class and learning all the steps Miss Peggy and her assistants (Megan/Jamie) taught her. To keep a 4 year old's interest for a year is pretty hard to do! Not only did we have fun every Saturday but I appreciated the organization, communication, value and genuine caring that you and the rest of your staff provided. So, not only did I re-sign her up but I also signed up my 2 year old granddaughter up for the 2012/2013 season.
This years recital was even better than last year, for me anyway, since I was able to see my granddaughter perform; she had the night of her life. All our family and friends who attended the show were just as impressed as I was the year before. Your productions are the BOMB!!!
Thank you for a great season. Have a fantastic summer. Can't wait for September 8th for it to start all over again.
Respectfully,
Chris Barrett
I just wanted to say thank you once again for a thoroughly wonderful evening of great dancing and beautiful girls clearly enjoying themselves! I hope the stress of the unavoidable late start didn't cause you too much anxiety!
Having danced and been an assistant teacher for a number of years, I can appreciate the hard work that goes on behind the scenes -- and now, as an audience member and mother, I can greatly appreciate a show that moves along and doesn't waste time and patience on endless solos, semis, singing, guitar strumming, ukulele plucking, tambourine banging, baton twirling and so on. The focus is dance and the dancing is great. The "teachers" class and the closing tap with Companies A & B were my favorites -- but all the routines, down to the tiniest tots were very well done, with lovely costumes and happy kids.
Sydney had a great year and I saw some real improvements in her dancing -- but more importantly I saw some real changes in her personally. She is more self-confident, more poised and more willing to ask questions and "take chances" so to speak. She even auditioned for and was accepted into two choruses this year (the Boston City Singers and the Handel and Haydn Society Youth Chorus) and I want to thank you for helping her to develop the personal confidence to take those chances. The gifts you give to the children are far more reaching than dance routines and I appreciate all your hard work and dedication.
I hope you have a wonderful restful summer.
See you in the fall!
Best regards.

Hi Sandy,
Just wanted to say "thank you" to you, Peggy and to the young ladies who assisted both of you this year for a great year of dance lessons and performances! My girls really enjoyed dancing all year and had a blast at the recital. Our family and friends who attended the show were very impressed again with ALL of the performances.
Thanks again for all of your hard work and dedication to our girls!
We'll see you in September,
R. & M. Driscoll
Congratulations on another fantastic show. The girls were simply wonderful, and their genuine pleasure in sharing their talent was evident on their smiling faces. Beautiful Day was super and I loved the can-can -- but Boogie Oogie Oogie was stellar! All the girls performed so well and looked fantastic and it was easy to just sit back and enjoy it all.
A big cheer of thanks to you, Peggy, Alicia, Jill, Molly, Jackie and Sarah and all the backstage cast and crew who make it all look so effortless.
We look forward to seeing you in September and stepping up to Company C. Enjoy a well-earned and restful summer!
Best regards.
M. Smith
